Kennel Assistant/Cleaner

  • This job consists of caring for pets that are staying in our boarding facility and keeping the hospital clean throughout the day. You will be responsible for checking in and checking out clients with their pets for boarding, answering phone calls for boarding, feeding and walking pets, administering medications to pets as needed, and cleaning their kennels. You will also be responsible for cleaning/sterilizing surgical instruments, cleaning the surgery rooms; vacuuming, sweeping, and moping the entire hospital; and taking out trashes.  

  • Experience preferred, but willing to train

  • Must be 18 years of age to apply

Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

  • Candidate must be an outgoing, energetic self-starter with the ability to critically think, maintain a positive attitude, and be open to learning. The desire to continually advance your knowledge and skills is essential in order to achieve the optimal standard of patient care provided at VVC.

  • Job duties include, but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. We cross-train and the candidate will work in reception as well. This is a full-time position. Must be available all days of the week including weekends and holidays. On-call rotation is required as well.
