Dr. Jessica Kysar was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, and developed her passion for veterinary medicine while growing up on her family’s cattle ranch. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from New Mexico State University in 2012.

She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2020. Dr. Kysar returned to New Mexico to practice as a full time small animal veterinarian and part time large animal veterinarian.  

For the last two years she was working as a relief veterinarian in the Northwest region, providing coverage for clinics throughout the Four Corners area including the Navajo Reservation. She is excited to be joining our clinic and servicing the Farmington community again. Her professional interests include small animal preventative care/surgery, reproduction, dentistry, and acupuncture.
