I was born in Longmont, Colorado, and have lived in several cities and states throughout my life. I cannot remember a time when animals were not a part of my world, whether as beloved pets or through volunteer and professional experiences.
In 2026, I earned my Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from New Mexico State University, an accomplishment of which I am very proud. My greatest accomplishment, however, is being the mother of three wonderful children and having the joy of watching them grow into kind, compassionate adults.
To me, “Caring for those who cannot care for themselves” means advocating for the pets who come through our clinic, supporting animals throughout the community, and providing pet owners with the information and education they need to give their animals the best possible care. While there is only so much we can do within the clinic, community outreach allows us to help even more people become the knowledgeable and loving pet parents they want to be.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, playing video games with my children, and volunteering with a local animal welfare organization.
